As most of you know back in the beginning of the month I thought I once again I dislocated my knee.  Turns out I actually tore my meniscus. I actually probably tore it back in 2000 or 2001 but the ER always told me I dislocated my knee. Nope they were wrong, and I finally had surgery on my knee a week and a half ago. My doctor said is was a pretty big tear that just got bigger over the years. He was quite impressed by the loud pop when they finally straightened my knee. I am healing well and starting physical therapy this week since I still can't walk on it.  Anyway enough about me.

Hailey is doing quite well. Thank god for daycare during this time but I do wish I was capable of having her stay home with me. Our babysitter Katie who lives down the road has been very helpful at getting her to daycare each morning for me. Hailey's vocabulary is expanding each day and I know I'm her mother but she is so incredibly smart! She goes to the doctor for her 18 month checkup next month so I'll be sure to report her updated height and weight. She is still our little peanut!

This was a day or two after my surgery. Hailey wondered off and this is where I found her. I honestly have no idea how she got up on the bed. Deoji is actually starting to tolerate her now.

She has been having trouble sleeping through the night and ending up in our bed occasionally.

Katie sent me this from daycare, it really looks like she's having a blast.

And here is the other baby, he pretty much hasn't left my side since I got hurt. Although does steal my spot when I get up.

We finally had a successful snow storm! Nemo, as they named it brought 12+ inches of powder, it was beautiful! It was Hailey's first really snow storm since last winter we didn't get much and this year we've only had a couple inches at a time. Finally my wish for one good snow storm came true.

It started Friday morning, I went to work until 12:30 and then we hunkered down for the storm. Deoji seemed to enjoy every bit of it jumping and playing each time we took him out.

Finally when we woke Saturday morning the storm was done and it was time to start clearing out. As we know, the weathermen can't predict weather even when they were standing in it, fearing the snow was going to be wet and heavy it was really the exact opposite. It only took us 45 minutes to clear off and shovel out both cars while Hailey was napping and Deoji was out catching the snow we were throwing off the cars. After nap and snack we attempted to get Hailey in her snow suit but she wanted nothing of it, but once Daddy was heading to take Deoji out she was all for it. She let us bundle her up and out we all went. She was a little skeptical but had a great time watching us play with Deoji as he was catching the snow we were kicking up to him.  She didn't really touch it or anything but she didn't seem to mind it either. It was pretty cold out so we only stayed out for about 10-15 mins. Funny that's how long it took us to get her snow suit on, her boots, gloves and hat lol!

On the way in she wanted to play on our neighbors stairs then had fun walking up and down our stairs. Needless to say now that's what she wants to do when we go outside now, thank you Daddy ;).

But better late than never! Hope everyone had a very wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year! I can't believe its already the last day of January! Where does the time go!?

Well Hailey had a very wonderful Christmas thank you to EVERYONE for being so incredibly generous and to Santa too! She enjoyed opening up some but not all of her presents. I know next Christmas (which is 327 days away) will be even better, she probably want to open everyones!

Hailey is truly growing up before our eyes! Its really amazing to watch her grow. She is extremely active, talkative (all though she carrys on her own conversations, and is incredibly loving!

Hailey's favorite toys are currently her Minnies, which she call Mimees, her rocking horse, her stroller to push her babies, her babies which she loves to wrap up in blankets, her V-Tech Dinosaur, Puzzles, and she loves to play blankets.

Her vocabulary is growing weekly a short list of words she can say are: D-o-g, puppy, baby, bye-bye, Mimee, shoes, hot, Mommy, Ma, Daddy, Pop-Pop, up, apple, binkie, just to name a few.

She loves to climb, climb up, climb over and climb on anything, chase the dog (which we don't encourage), give hugs, kisses, she's starting to sit and look at books, try to put her shoes or socks on herself or someone else. She like to play on the IPad or IPhone, she is really just so much fun!!

Tomorrow is her official last day in the infant room at daycare, starting Monday my little girl goes into the Toddler room, it will be a nice transition and she will start doing projects and have circle time and I'm sure we will just see her advance even more. Let just hope it in a positive way and doesn't include hitting and biting!

Hailey recently had her 15 month checkup she weighted in at 20lbs 12 ounces (only 11 ounces more than her 1 year check-up) and was 30 inches long.

Bath-time Fun! (this was tonight actually)

Hailey, John and I are quite excited about the approaching Holiday Season!  We have started decorating for the holidays, unfortunately not as planned since a wicked stomach virus tore through the house and I have been battling an upper respiratory infection and a sinus infection. I'm still somewhat sick but slowly getting better. We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and we had an enjoyable day starting with watching the Parade and the wonderful arrival of Santa Clause! We had some wonderful Turkey and my favorite Dads Stuffing!! We also found out that Hailey absolutely loves Cranberry sauce! She was quite enjoyable as we all sat around the table and ate all the yummy food! Thanks Mom and Dad as Thanksgiving is always so tasty, even the second time around!!

Hailey did have her 1 month check up and she weighted in at 20lbs 1 oz and her height was 30 inches. We have finally turned her car seat around as she just wasn't having the backwards facing anymore and I think she really enjoys face forward and seeing the world! Its also nice to be able to see her while I am driving! She is becoming a little girl and is growing so fast. I feel like she's lost her babyness as you can see in this picture she really is a toddler now!

Christmas is soon coming and we are counting down the days in our house! It will be so much fun watching Hailey open her presents this year and I'm sure she will have a little help from Deoji like she did on her birthday! Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!!

Well its been quite and exciting couple of weeks! Sorry for the delay with posting pictures, with Hailey's party then the Hurricane and then Halloween needless to say we have been busy!! Hope everyone made out okay with the storm. Our thoughts and prayers are with Aunt Lynda and Uncle Don and hoping that there isn't too much damage to their home!

To start we bought a little cake for Hailey on the day of her birthday, for just John, Haiiley and I, to share her special day. Here is her first cake experience! She did seem to enjoy it!

Hailey's party was so much fun and I thank everyone so much for coming out and sharing in her special day! She had a lot of fun with her special cake!

Before the store came we went pumpkin picking!

We ended up going up to Grandmom and Pop-pops during the Hurricane since we lost power. We used the time to do a lot of silly playing and carving a pumpkin.

Hailey was Minnie Mouse for Halloween and I have to admit, she was the cutest Minnie Mouse ever!

We are getting excited for the Holidays! My favorite time of the year. Its going to be quite a year now that Hailey is older! Lots of new things to experience with her! Hope you all are doing well and enjoyed the pictures!

At the time this blog is posted, 4:38pm, our little girl is officially 1 year old! I can't believe how emotional I am over this! To say she has completed my life is an understatement. She amazes me everyday and I am so lucky that god has blessed me with such an amazing little girl!

Hailey this past year has been absolutely wonderful. I never knew I could love someone the way I love you! Everyday I look forward to being with you, watching you grow and learn new things! You have come so far in just one short year. I never knew how quickly time really goes until I had you. I hope this year brings your many wonderful things. I look forward to watching you continue to grow into the amazing person you are. You have brought me such joy and happiness and wish nothing but a happy wonderful life for you.

I love you with all my heart, always and forever!

Happy Birthday Baby Girl!

Happy Birthday Peanut! We love you so much!!

Well I did it! I took a picture once a week for a year! It might not have been every Wednesday but it was pretty close to it! Here is her 52 week picture!!

She really is an amazing little girl!!

Its hard to believe this time last year this little princess was making her way here! I didn't even know I was contracting and that she was preparing to make my debut despite scheduling my inducement. I thought she was just moving around a lot and doing a lot of kicking turns out by the time I got to the hospital the next morning I was 8 mins apart!

She has brought me so much joy! I didn't know you could actually love someone like this! She really is my greatest accomplishment!

Love you Hailey!

It was a year ago today that I went to my last doctors appointment and arrangements were arranged for Hailey's arrival! I can't believe she is going to be one on Friday!!

It was cold and a little dreary but we still had a great time and I think Hailey had fun too. She really seemed to enjoy the apples! It was shocking to see how expensive apple picking has become but the memories are priceless!

Hope you all enjoyed the first true fall day!

Even just in the past few weeks she has grown up so much! From pointing at the things she wants, to holding her own bottle to taking her first steps! It really is amazing to watch her grow and go! She brings such joy to our lives and she is what helps me get through a work day as I look forward to going and picking her up at daycare. She really is an amazing little girl who I love so much and absolutely adore!!

Here are her 49 week pictures. I must say its getting more difficult as she is on the move and now won't stay still next to Johnny Bear and Donald. As frustrating as it gets when I look at these all I can do is laugh!

I was dropping Hailey off at daycare this morning, which is going really well, she may hold on for a moment or two but then she will see a toy and off she goes. But anyway when I dropped her off this morning, she saw a ball she likes to play with and grabbed it and stood up with it and she started coming towards me so I backed up as much as I could and I got to witness her first 3 steps!! It was very exciting for me as I have been very worried I would miss it since I know the ladies at the daycare are getting her to try it more. I would have loved for her daddy to see it but I know it will be just as exciting for him the first time he gets to see her do it!

Well I'm at work and have lots to do! I will post last week and this weeks picture soon!

Our little girl is already 48 weeks old/11 months!! I remember growing up my parents saying how time flies and how we grew up so fast and I would think they are crazy and it takes forever for my birthday and Christmas to come around. Well, now that I have Hailey I can't believe how fast time really goes! I can't believe she will be 1 in a month!
